A big Texas restaurant for CedarView. Haywire, from Dallas-based FB Society, is planning its second Austin-area location in Cedar Park.

  • It'll be the chain's sixth Texas location.

  • More than 10,000 square feet, with a large outdoor space and a Texas whiskey list.

  • The menu mixes Tex-Mex, barbecue and Gulf seafood.

What to expect

  • Mini elk tacos.

  • Gulf Coast ceviche.

  • Chicken-fried steak and a 33-ounce tomahawk.
