🔝 TOP 3 IN 10 SECONDS
⭐ Winston's (Bee Cave) is this week's Featured Spot — wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, from-scratch breakfast, and a real coffee bar tucked into the Hill Country Galleria.
🍽️ Canyon Grille at Rough Hollow (Lakeway) is worth a fresh look — it reopened this spring under new owner Haythem Dawlett with a farm-to-table, Gulf-seafood menu and those Yacht Club lake views.
🏗️ Fresh on the radar as we widen toward Hudson Bend: Good BBQ Company is setting up at Lake Travis Biergarten this summer — plus the Cousin Louie's build-out in Lakeway rolls on.

🏗️ COMING SOON & RUMORED
Good BBQ Company (Hudson Bend) — the East Austin barbecue trailer is setting up a permanent home at Lake Travis Biergarten near Hudson Bend; they're hiring and pulling permits now.
⏰ ETA: Summer 2026
📍 Address: 3519 N RM 620 (Lake Travis Biergarten), Austin
🌐 Website: goodbbqcompany.com
📞 Phone: TBD
Still cooking on the rest of the board: in Lakeway, Cousin Louie's is turning the former League Kitchen & Tavern space on S RR 620 into a red-sauce, family-recipe Italian-American spot — from the T4C & Co. team behind Tony C's and Mighty Fine — with the build-out underway and no hard open date yet. And on the rumor front, the Oz. Tap House beer garden is still eyeing the former Rocco's Grill space on Bee Cave Road. We'll flag the next new one the second it surfaces.
✅ NOW OPEN (LAST 60 DAYS)
No brand-new spots crossed into our 60-day window this week — but if it's been a minute, the one to catch up on is Canyon Grille at Rough Hollow in Lakeway, which reopened this spring under new owner Haythem Dawlett with a rotating, seasonally driven farm-to-table menu and fresh Gulf Coast seafood several times a week. Same lake views at the Yacht Club, new kitchen energy — 103 Yacht Club Cove; canyongrillelakeway.com. We'll have a fresh opening for you here soon.
📑 ON THE RADAR — NEW FILINGS & PERMITS
No fresh restaurant filings or permits hit the Bee Cave, Lakeway, or Travis County logs this week, and the state's alcohol-license board is still showing zero pending applications across all three towns. The forward signals already on our board are the ones to watch — the Coming Soon build-outs above, plus Thomas Ranch, the massive new Spicewood master-planned community whose dining and retail pipeline is still taking shape (no named restaurant yet, but it's coming). We'll surface the next new permit here the moment it lands.
⭐ FEATURED SPOT
Winston's — Bee Cave (Hill Country Galleria)
The Vibe — An all-day café from Aaron and Sally Creamer (who moved from England and named it after their dog): coffeehouse by morning, wood-fired pizzeria by night, with a big Galleria patio and a family-first feel.
Must-Order Items — Wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas (the margherita and prosciutto & arugula are the moves), plus from-scratch breakfast tacos, cinnamon rolls, and a nitro cold brew — and save room for the gelato.
Pro Tip — Mornings are the calm window for coffee and a roll; grab the patio at golden hour for pizza and a local beer or wine. Kids in tow? The original Winston's has "The Barn" with room to roam.
📍 Address: 13420 Galleria Circle, Ste. A140, Bee Cave, TX 78738

🍷 DRINKS WATCH — NEW ON THE WINE & BEER TRAIL
Spicewood's wine country stayed quiet on new tasting rooms this week — no fresh openings or filings on the drinks trail. The established names are pouring as always (Spicewood Vineyards, Ron Yates, Stone House, Flat Creek), and the newer anchors — Highway 71 Brewing Co. and Iron Wolf Ranch & Distillery — are both up and running if you haven't made it out yet. This is wine country, so we scan it hard every week; we'll pop the cork here the moment a new spot surfaces.
❌ RECENTLY CLOSED
No new closings to report around the lake this week — everybody's still standing. We'll pass along any news here if it comes.
