Operated by Noubar Ishak and his daughter Kylie, Crazy Falafels offers kebab plates, pita wraps, falafel and vegetable dishes inspired by Lebanese home cooking.

A Michelin-starred smokehouse tucked into a strip center just north of Lakeline is reason enough to cross the line into our coverage area, and InterStellar BBQ has quietly been doing it for years. The brisket, peach-tea-glazed pork belly and jalapeño popper sausage are cooked low and slow over post oak, and the line forms well before the doors open. It's counter service only, cash-and-card, with complimentary beans on every plate, and the kitchen regularly sells out by mid-afternoon. Pro tip: open Wednesday–Sunday 11 to 4 (or until the smoker runs dry) — get there by 10:30 if you want a shot at the pork belly.

It's a locally-owned outpost of the Austin-born chain, with beans roasted in wood-fired brick ovens the old-fashioned way. The menu runs breakfast tacos alongside the coffee, so it covers a morning stop two ways.
