That's My Jam

The story. That's My Jam is a family affair. Randall and Suarta Mershon opened it in the Shops of the Galleria in Bee Cave in the summer of 2025, building a brunch café around two things they love: an unfussy, made-with-care breakfast and Austin's music heritage — the name is as much a nod to a favorite song as it is to what's on your toast. It's the kind of neighborhood spot that fills up with regulars who know the staff by name.

The vibe. Bright, friendly, and built for a slow morning. It's a breakfast-and-lunch house first — seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. — and then, after 3, the room flips into a private event space you can book by the section or take over entirely. That double life gives the place an easygoing, celebratory feel: it's set up for a quiet weekday breakfast meeting just as comfortably as a weekend crowd or a party.

What to order. Lead with the beignets — pillowy, sugar-dusted, and the thing people come back for. From there, the eggs Benedict and the omelets are the brunch anchors, with a proper plate of biscuits and gravy for when you want something hearty. Come closer to lunch and the menu shifts to fresh salads and sandwiches, and there's a kids' menu for the little ones. Bring an appetite and a group.

Good to know. That's My Jam is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for breakfast and lunch; after 3 p.m. the space is available for private events.
