The promised "September" opening on Ranch Road 12 has quietly slipped to Fall 2026
Wimberley's been watching this storefront for a while now. The Forager Botanical Infusions is set to land at 13904 Ranch Rd 12, right next door to Howdy Neighbor, bringing loose-leaf teas, herbs and a slow-down-and-stay kind of space to the stretch of RR 12 that's already filling in fast with new shops.
What's coming. The plan, per the shop's own account, is "The Forager Botanical Infusions" at "13904 Ranch Rd 12 #3 (Next to Howdy Neighbor)." The broader concept, as described by local coverage, is "a welcoming new shop where old-world apothecary traditions meet Texas Hill Country hospitality," with "organic loose-leaf teas, medicinal herbs and botanicals, curated wines, seasonal drinks, botanical gifts, and apothecary goods" all under one roof, plus room to sit and linger over a cup.
Where and when. The spot sits in the small retail row on Ranch Road 12, sandwiched between Gennaro's and the rest of that busy block — easy to spot since it's sharing a wall with Howdy Neighbor's café. Timing has moved. Earlier word had the shop "hoping to open in September," but the latest line from the shop itself has since shifted that target to Fall 2026 — still no firm date, but the season's underway.
Who's behind it. Ownership has changed hands recently: one local business roundup noted simply that "the new owner has verified the business and is hoping to open in September." No name has been published yet, so we're not guessing at one.
What we don't know yet. No hours, phone number or price list have surfaced anywhere public yet — not unusual for a shop still finishing buildout. We also don't have word on whether the "curated wines" will be bottles-to-go, by-the-glass, or both, or whether there's food beyond the botanical gifts and apothecary goods. We'll update this post the moment the doors open.
Keep an eye on The Forager
